Annabelle Luis
After winning a gold medal in modern cello in Lyon and completing an undergraduate degree in musicology, Annabelle took up baroque cello, studying with Marion Middenway and Bruno Cocset. She earned a graduate degree from the Lyon Conservatory in 2006.

In parallel with her studies, she played with various ensembles, such as Le Concert Spirituel, Le Concert de l'Hostel-Dieu, Le Poème Harmonique, La Simphonie du Marais, Stradivaria, and Les Passions de Montauban.

She plays on a regular basis with the Amarillis ensemble, and has been featured on several of its recordings: A Music Party (Agogique, 2011), Antoine Dauvergne / Gérard Pesson : Les Troqueurs and La Double Coquette (NoMadMusic, 2015), Inspiration baroque (NoMadMusic, 2016), Pergolesi - Stabat Mater (Sony classicla, 2016), Effervescence Concertante (Evidence classics, 2017) and Handel - Melodies in Mind (Evidence classics, 2018).

She plays a cello made in 1777 by Chappuy in Paris.
